Whistleblowing Foundations for Singapore Corporates
This course equips all staff in Singapore organisations with a clear understanding of whistleblowing principles, their legal rights and obligations under Singapore law, and how to raise concerns safely and effectively through the right channels.
Whistleblowing is a cornerstone of ethical corporate culture and effective governance. In Singapore, a robust legal and regulatory framework — including the Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) and guidelines issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) — places clear expectations on organisations and their people to speak up when something is wrong. This course introduces all staff to the foundations of whistleblowing: what it means, why it matters, and what protections exist for those who report concerns in good faith.
Across six focused modules, you will explore the Singapore regulatory landscape, learn how to identify reportable conduct, understand the organisation's internal whistleblowing programme, and discover what happens after a report is made. The course is designed to be practical and accessible regardless of your role, seniority, or business unit, helping you feel confident that raising a concern is the right thing to do — and that you are protected when you do so.
This course is the first in a two-part series for Singapore corporates. It is designed for all staff and provides the essential grounding every employee needs. A companion course for managers, investigators, and compliance officers builds on these foundations with more advanced content on managing disclosures, conducting investigations, and fulfilling leadership obligations under Singapore law.
