Transparency & Integrity: Ethical Reporting in Colombia

Transparency & Integrity: Ethical Reporting in Colombia

This course equips all Colombian organisation staff with the knowledge to identify, report and respond to unethical conduct, covering key obligations under Colombia's Anti-Corruption Statute (Law 1474), the Transnational Bribery Law and related regulatory frameworks.

Colombia has established a robust legal and regulatory framework to combat corruption, bribery and unethical conduct in both the public and private sectors. This course, Transparency & Integrity: Ethical Reporting in Colombia, provides all staff with a clear, practical understanding of their rights and responsibilities under this framework, including the obligations imposed by the Anti-Corruption Statute (Law 1474 of 2011) and Colombia's Transnational Bribery provisions. Learners will explore what constitutes reportable conduct, how to raise concerns safely, and what protections are available to those who speak up.

Ethical reporting — often called whistleblowing — is one of the most powerful tools available for detecting and deterring wrongdoing inside organisations. When staff feel confident, informed and protected, they are far more likely to raise concerns early, before issues escalate into serious legal, financial or reputational harm. This course presents real-world scenarios, plain-language explanations of complex legislation, and practical guidance on using internal and external reporting channels.

This is the All Staff course in a two-course set designed for organisations operating in Colombia. It focuses on building a culture of integrity across the entire workforce. A companion course for managers and compliance leads covers deeper obligations relating to programme design, investigation management and regulatory engagement. Together, both courses support your organisation's commitment to transparency, accountability and legal compliance in Colombia.
