Peru Corporate Integrity: Preventing Corruption via Reporting
This course equips all staff in Peru with the knowledge to recognise corruption, understand their legal obligations under Legislative Decree 1352 and Law 30742, and confidently use reporting channels to protect themselves and their organisation.
Corruption poses a serious risk to organisations operating in Peru, undermining trust, damaging reputation, and exposing both individuals and legal entities to significant criminal and administrative liability. This course has been designed for all staff — regardless of role or seniority — to build a shared understanding of what corruption looks like, why it must be reported, and how Peru's legal framework protects those who come forward.
Underpinning this course are two critical pieces of Peruvian legislation: Legislative Decree 1352 (the Corporate Liability Law), which establishes autonomous criminal liability for legal entities involved in corruption offences, and Law 30742 (the Law for the Strengthening of Integrity and the Fight Against Corruption), which reinforces institutional mechanisms for preventing and detecting corruption in both the public and private sectors. Together, these laws create a clear compliance obligation for organisations and a protected pathway for employees who report wrongdoing.
This course forms part of a two-course set for Peru. This 'All Staff' module focuses on awareness, recognition, and reporting obligations. A companion course is available for managers and compliance professionals covering deeper governance, programme design, and supervisory responsibilities. On completing this course, you will understand your personal obligations, know how to use your organisation's reporting channels, and feel confident that the law supports you in speaking up.
